Recent Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Network Team Lead to oversee the project delivery team responsible for the delivery of Network Projects.

Responsibilities

Guide the detailing of high level network designs into deployable solutions.

Lead the Technical Network engagement with the business to develop solutions and recommendations.

Oversee project network engineers who install, commission, test and accept new deployment activities on projects.

Oversee network documentation, ensure proper updating and maintaining network drawings and plans, and generate Bill of Materials to support/manage appropriate equipment procurement.

Lead Network Capacity Management to assess project and resourcing risks and mitigations.

Requirements

10 years of progressively more responsible positions.





Expert knowledge of Cisco networking equipment and software - Cisco CCNP or equivalent - with a minimum 10 years’ experience with design and deployment of enterprise networks in mission-critical, 7x24 production environments.

Proven experience managing Network teams in an enterprise environment.

Proven experience developing Network designs and documentation.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the knowledge of approaches, tools and techniques for working with individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.

The ability to empower staff in a team environment.

Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to liaise and interact with all levels of the organization.
