Drive Indigenous recruitment at Dilico in Thunder Bay, ON as the Indigenous Recruitment Liaison. Engage with communities to create pathways for employment and education. In this full time role, you'll work under the Human Resources Manager to enhance access to career opportunities for Indigenous candidates.
Your focus on culturally relevant recruitment strategies will help align hiring practices with Indigenous traditions and values. Collaborating with students, job seekers, and community leaders will be pivotal in facilitating access to growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
Create inclusive recruitment strategies for Indigenous candidates
Collaborate with community organizations to reach potential applicants
Assist Indigenous job seekers in navigating career pathways
Educate on employment prospects and support available
Ensure recruitment practices respect cultural values and traditions Requirements:
Preferred degree in Human Resources or related discipline
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with Indigenous communities
Familiarity with candidate sourcing and HR Information Systems
Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed
Must complete a criminal background check Drive change and foster connections for Indigenous talent at Dilico in Thunder Bay.
