Hwaro Korean BBQ – Laval, QC

Hwaro Korean BBQ is looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Host / Busser to join our front-of-house team. This position plays an key role in creating a welcoming experience for our guests and keeping the dining room clean, organized, and running efficiently.

Responsibilities

Host Duties
Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
Manage the waiting list and assist with reservations and table assignments.
Seat guests efficiently while maintaining proper table rotation.
Answer basic questions about the restaurant, menu, and dining concept.
Answer phone calls and assist with general customer inquiries.
Communicate with servers and management regarding table availability and guest needs.
Maintain a clean and organized entrance and reception area.

Busser Duties
Clear and reset tables quickly and properly between guests.
Clean tables, chairs, benches, and surrounding dining areas.
Bring clean dishes, utensils, napkins, and other supplies to service stations.
Remove used dishes and glassware from tables.
Assist servers with maintaining clean and organized tables during service.
Help keep service stations and common areas clean and stocked.
Support the front-of-house team during busy periods.




Follow restaurant sanitation, food-safety, and workplace-safety procedures.

Qualifications
Friendly, positive, and customer-service oriented.
Reliable and punctual.
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform regular cleaning and table-resetting duties.
Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Previous restaurant experience is an asset but not required; training will be provided.
French and/or English communication skills are an asset.
