Overview

We are seeking a proactive and dependable Helper to join our construction and maintenance team. In this vital role, you will assist skilled tradespeople by performing a variety of hands-on tasks that keep projects moving forward efficiently. Responsibilities
Assist with the assembly, disassembly, and installation of building components using hand tools and power tools
Support carpentry tasks such as measuring, cutting, and fitting materials according to project specifications
Aid in plumbing and HVAC work by preparing materials and assisting with routine maintenance tasks
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
Help with site cleanup, organization of tools and materials, and maintaining a secure work environment
Perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations as needed
Support welding, schematics reading,



and other specialized tasks under supervision to develop technical proficiency

Requirements
Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in construction trades or related fields
Experience or familiarity with carpentry, plumbing, HVAC systems, or general construction work is preferred but not mandatory
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment safely and effectively
Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting schematics is a plus
Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions clearly
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required on-site
Willingness to learn current skills such as welding or advanced assembly techniques
Prior construction experience is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to grow are key
