Responsibilities
Prepare a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes, following established recipes and quality standards
Decorate cakes and desserts with artistic flair, incorporating cake decorating techniques to enhance visual appeal
Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures at all times
Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring ingredients, and assembling baked items efficiently
Package baked goods carefully to maintain freshness and presentation for retail or takeout orders
Support the kitchen team with general food preparation and cleaning duties to ensure a tidy workspace




Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations when needed

Qualifications
Previous experience in baking, food preparation, or working in a restaurant workplace is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Knowledge of cake decorating techniques and experience with food handling safety standards
Strong interest in the food industry with a passion for baking and culinary arts
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude towards customers and team members
Basic kitchen experience including use of baking equipment and packaging tools is advantageous
