Job Summary

Duties
Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, tarts, and confections with attention to detail and consistency
Decorate cakes and desserts using advanced cake decorating techniques to create visually appealing designs
Package baked goods efficiently for retail display or catering orders while maintaining product integrity
Assist in food production and food preparation processes to ensure timely service during busy periods
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in all kitchen areas
Collaborate with team members to develop current recipes and seasonal pastry offerings
Handle food industry equipment safely, including mixers, ovens, knives,



and decorating tools

Requirements
Proven pastry experience with a strong portfolio of baked goods and desserts
Demonstrated skills in cake decorating and food presentation techniques
Knowledge of food handling regulations and food safety standards
Experience in food production, preparation, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or catering setting
Excellent knife skills, baking expertise, and proficiency in culinary techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
