Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 310T/310J Mechanic to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mechanical systems, repair procedures, and maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and repair of commercial, truck and trailer systems including hydraulics, PTO, electrical, body and engine etc.
Detecting and diagnosing operating problems
Perform proactive preventative services, annual truck/trailer inspections and routine checks
Examine and adjust safety devices and protective guards
Use of hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools
Conduct all necessary repairs
Investigation of malfunction to determine root cause of failure
Thorough reports of diagnostic finding to identify warrantable repairs




Always Complying with Health and Safety procedures as well as maintaining a clean and organized work area
Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Fully licensed 310T/310J truck and coach technician
Electronic engine diagnostics
Excellent organization skills with a robust attention to detail and time management are essential
PTO and hydraulic installation and repair is considered an asset
Familiar with laptop software diagnostics, Paccar MX engines and Peterbilt chassis are considered an asset
Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work habits always
Other duties as assigned
