This is a full-time, Monday – Friday local position that allows the driver to return home each evening. 5+ years of Super B flat deck experience is required. Crossing the border is an asset.

A Day In The Life Of This Nortrans Driver
Loading and unloading curtain side & flat deck trailers (tridem and Super B) across the Lower Mainland, ensuring weights are legally distributed.
Staging trailers at Nortrans’ different yards between Maple Ridge, Abbotsford, and Chilliwack.
Coordinating with Nortrans' supportive and experienced Operations team on a day-to-day basis.
Ability to work a morning shift (4:00 AM – 2:00 PM) or an evening shift (2:00 PM – 12:00 AM)
Upholding the highest safety standards, in and out of the truck.
Your Qualifications and Experience
Experience working with different types of freight including lumber, drywall, steel coils, pipe, doors & windows, and concrete.
At least 5 years of Super B deck experience; both city experience and mountain highway experience required. This driver must be a flat deck veteran.
A clean driver's abstract, reflecting a track record of protected driving behaviour.
Practical experience driving a variety of different trucks and routes.
Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions is preferred.
