Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled 310T truck Mechanic to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy trucks, trailers and farm equipment.
Duties
Perform comprehensive diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles and machinery.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and welding techniques to complete repairs efficiently
Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to identify issues and execute repairs accurately
Assist with the assembly and disassembly of mechanical components during repairs or upgrades
Conduct safety inspections on vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
Skills
Proven mechanic experience with a solid background in heavy equipment repair and maintenance
Experience in operating heavy equipment
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or installations
Experience working with farm and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable
Solid troubleshooting skills combined with the ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
Knowledge of vehicle assembly processes and maintenance procedures
