Duties
Assist with excavation activities using hand tools and machinery under supervision
Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, leveling surfaces, and setting up safety barriers
Operate basic earth-moving equipment such as mini excavators or skid steers when trained and certified
Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work setting for yourself and colleagues
Support the installation of drainage systems, foundations, and other earthworks components
Collaborate with team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and to quality standards




Maintain a clean work area by removing waste materials and organizing tools and equipment

Qualifications
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods
Prior experience in construction or earthworks is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and the importance of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Basic understanding of construction site operations and machinery handling (training provided if necessary)
Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality
Valid driver’s license is preferred but not required; reliable transportation is beneficial
Certifications such as OSHA safety training or machinery operation are a plus but can be obtained upon hire

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
