Courtyard Coffee is a small family owned and operated café in Qualicum Beach looking to add a barista to our growing team! We take pride in offering high quality sandwiches, baked goods, and beverages and strive to cultivate a space where customers feel welcomed and taken care of. Requirements:
Barista experience and is an asset, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn is more key.
Solid communication and time management skills.
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to upholding quality standards.
Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Desire to be part of a supportive, community-focused team.

Responsibilities:
Preparing a variety of coffee and tea-based beverages according to established recipes.




Ensuring all beverages meet standards for quality and consistency.
Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service.
Processing customers’ orders through the Point of Sales (POS) system ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Ensuring the café is clean and presentable during service hours (wiping tables, restocking, clearing dishes, etc.)
Upholding workplace safety and food safety standards at all times.
Monitoring inventory and communicating supply needs to the Kitchen Manager and General Manager.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
