As a Heavy Duty Truck & Trailer Technician, you will play an significant role in keeping our fleet safe, reliable, and ready for operation. You will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy-duty trucks and trailers while ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing to help minimize equipment downtime.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, brake, and other vehicle systems.
Complete repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company safety standards.
Use diagnostic tools and repair equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
Test vehicles and equipment as required to confirm repairs have been completed effectively.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance performed, and parts used.
Work collaboratively with the shop team to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.




Stay current with industry standards, repair practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements
Red Seal certification or equivalent qualification as a Heavy Duty Mechanic, Truck & Transport Technician, or Diesel Mechanic.
Previous experience repairing and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
Robust mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Experience using diagnostic software, tools, and repair equipment.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must be able to pass pre-employment, random, and post-incident drug and alcohol testing.

Pay: $40.00-$49.31 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
