Warehouse III
Location: Mount Pearl, NL., On-site.
Position Type: Contract
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse III professional to support warehouse operations, shipping and receiving activities, inventory management, and material handling within a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control activities.
Load and unload freight using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts.
Utilize SAP and other computer systems to track materials and warehouse transactions.
Read and interpret work instructions, correspondence, and operational documents.
Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and warehouse best practices.
Maintain a clean, organized, and productive work environment.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 3 years of related warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience.
Forklift certification required or preferred.
Overhead crane certification is preferred.
Previous SAP experience preferred.
Solid understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Basic mathematical skills with the ability to perform inventory-related calculations.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced and noisy warehouse environment.
Frequent movement throughout the workday.
Regularly lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
Frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to safely operate a forklift while loading and unloading materials.
Preferred Experience
Shipping and receiving operations.
Warehouse logistics and inventory control.
Material handling in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
Experience with SAP warehouse or inventory systems.
Ideal Candidate: A safety-focused warehouse qualified with strong shipping, receiving, and inventory experience who is comfortable working in a high-volume environment and operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
