Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Short Order Cook to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of quick-serve menu items, ensuring high-quality food service that delights our guests. Your enthusiasm and culinary skills will help us deliver fast, fresh, and tasty meals in a vibrant pub setting.

Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of short order dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards
Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients efficiently
Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are strictly followed to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
Serve food promptly to customers at the counter or bar area with friendly, attentive service
Maintain organized workstations, restock supplies, and assist with cleaning duties as needed
Follow all food safety regulations and proper kitchen protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness




Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experience in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications
Previous food service experience in a restaurant or pub setting is highly preferred
Robust skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly for quick-service environments
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
Experience with serving customers in a friendly, professional manner
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Kitchen experience within the food industry or restaurant experience is advantageous
Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices is essential
