About Us

A+ Sushi is a well-established sushi restaurant in Winnipeg, serving a wide variety of fresh sushi, sashimi, and Japanese dishes. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our kitchen team.

Responsibilities
Prepare sushi, sashimi, maki rolls, and other Japanese dishes to our quality standards
Select and handle fresh fish, seafood, and ingredients daily
Prepare sushi rice and manage mise en place
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-secure workstation
Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies
Work with the kitchen team to ensure smooth, timely service

Requirements
1+ years of experience as a sushi chef (or equivalent)
Strong knife skills and knowledge of sushi preparation techniques




Valid Manitoba Food Handler Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Able to work in a fast-paced workplace with attention to detail
Versatile availability, including evenings and weekends
Legally entitled to work in Canada

What We Offer
$20–$25 per hour, depending on experience
Full-time hours (30–40 hours per week)
