Collaborate with the Culture Division Manager at shíshálh Nation as an Executive Assistant in Sechelt, British Columbia. This full-time position requires solid administrative skills and cultural sensitivity.
As an Executive Assistant, you will provide comprehensive executive-level support to the Culture, Language, and Recreation Division. Your role will involve maintaining efficient communication, managing calendars, and organizing meetings and events that promote the rich heritage of shíshálh culture. You will ensure a smooth experience for leaders, staff, and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and manage the Division Manager's calendar
• Draft policies and materials for cultural programming
• Coordinate logistics for cultural events and workshops
• Serve as liaison for community inquiries
• Maintain accurate filing systems and documentation
Requirements:
• Administration or Business Administration certification
• At least five years of executive administrative experience
• Familiarity with Indigenous community dynamics
• Proficient in MS Office with excellent communication skills
• Clean Criminal Record Check required
