The Prospect:

We’re looking for a General Kitchen Helper to join our Ken’s Diner team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will provide general kitchen support duties under the direction of the Head Chef.

What you’ll do:
Support kitchen staff with general duties and food service.
Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment.
Receive and store food deliveries.
Maintain cleanliness: wipe surfaces, polish stainless steel, sweep and mop floors.




Dispose of garbage and recycle cardboard.
Assist with plating, portioning and clearing during meal service.

Qualifications
One (1) year experience in food industry is considered an asset.
Familiarity with WHMIS, safety, and sanitation preferred.
Robust English communication skills; friendly and respectful with residents and staff.
Able to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Team-oriented with a robust work ethic and positive attitude.
