Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Millwork CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the vital link between design concepts and detailed manufacturing drawings. Your expertise in CAD software and construction knowledge will drive the creation of accurate, detailed schematics for custom millwork projects. This position offers an exciting prospect to contribute to high-end kitchen designs and collaborate with skilled artisans in a quick-paced environment.

Duties
Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings of millwork components using AutoCAD software
Translate architectural and engineering schematics into precise fabrication plans
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to ensure drawings meet project specifications and standards
Incorporate construction details, material specifications, and assembly instructions into drawings




Prepare schematics that clearly communicate fabrication and installation requirements
Maintain organized digital files of all CAD drawings and revisions

Experience
MUST HAVE 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Proven experience in drafting for millwork or custom cabinetry projects with a strong portfolio of CAD drawings
Proficiency in AutoCAD software
Construction experience or familiarity with building codes and standards is highly desirable
Ability to interpret architectural plans and technical specifications accurately
Knowledge of 2D animation techniques is a plus for visual presentations of designs
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
Prior experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or construction environment is preferred

Pay: $25.00-$36.32 per hour
