Duties
Assist with meal preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients according to recipes and standards
Support food handling procedures to ensure cleanliness, proper storage, and safety compliance
Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, equipment, and work areas throughout shifts
Help with serving food to customers or staff promptly and courteously when needed
Follow food safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met




Restock supplies and ingredients as required to keep the kitchen well-equipped for busy service periods
Support the overall operation of the kitchen by performing basic cooking tasks under supervision

Skills
Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and meal preparation processes
Familiarity with food handling safety standards and hygiene practices
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
Solid teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards assisting others in the kitchen
Good communication skills for coordinating with chefs, servers, and other staff members
Willingness to learn recent skills related to food preparation, safety, and kitchen operations
