Customer Experience Associate – Temporary

Location: Burnaby, BC - Onsite

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Pay: $20.00/hour

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

Our client is looking for a Customer Experience Associate to join their team on a temporary, full-time basis. This role supports optical stores and optometrists' offices with prescription order entry, order follow-up, and general customer service.

What You’ll Do

- Enter optical prescription orders for eyeglasses accurately into the system.

- Review order information and contact customers when additional details or clarification are required.

- Provide customers with updates on order status, production progress, and delays.

- Follow up on outstanding orders and customer requests.

- Respond to inquiries from optical stores and optometrists' offices by phone and email.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and order information.

- Support the Customer Service team as needed.

- Assist the Customer Service Manager with data entry, reporting, and other administrative tasks.

- Work with internal teams to help ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.

What We’re Looking For

- Previous customer service, order entry, or administrative experience.

- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Robust verbal and written English communication skills.

- Comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email.

- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and email.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

- Experience in the optical industry is an asset but is not required.
