Responsibilities
Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure their comfort and dignity
Support patient care routines including , meal preparation, and light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean setting
Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals with dementia, disabilities, or those receiving hospice care
Help with mobility and heavy lifting tasks safely using proper techniques to prevent injury for yourself and others
Monitor health status by observing changes in condition, reporting concerns promptly to nursing staff or supervisors




Assist with activities that promote mental stimulation and social engagement tailored to each individual’s needs
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, and any incidents or observations

Experience
Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred
Demonstrated experience in patient care, caregiving, or senior care roles that involve supporting individuals with disabilities or dementia
Knowledge of hospice care practices and experience working with terminally ill patients is advantageous
Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and assisting with mobility safely and effectively
