Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
Engage with customers warmly, providing friendly service and answering their questions about menu items
Operate POS systems such as Square POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
Assist in food preparation and food handling to ensure quality standards are met at all times
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating zones
Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cash register operation and balancing tills




Support food safety practices by adhering to hygiene standards and proper food handling procedures

Qualifications
Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred
Familiarity with POS systems like Square POS or similar transaction platforms
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele
Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
Basic math skills for cash handling, order processing, and inventory management
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
