Ledcor is seeking proactive individuals for winter seasonal roles from October 1st to April 30th. This position not only offers the chance to help maintain Alberta highways but also potential for year-round employment and growth opportunities. Key skills include operating heavy equipment like snowplow trucks and performing physical tasks in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate snowplow trucks and wheel loaders
• Assist with pothole repairs and hazard remediation
• Conduct bridge and signage cleaning
• Maintain the safety of Alberta Provincial Highways
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1, 2, or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement
• Clear 3-year driver’s abstract
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Previous snowplow or wheel loader experience is an asset
