Duties
Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, pastries, and baked goods following established recipes and quality standards
Decorate cakes with intricate designs, fondant, icing, and other decorative elements to meet customer specifications
Ensure all food handling practices adhere to food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area
Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring ingredients, and assembling baked items
Package finished products securely for display or delivery while maintaining presentation quality
Maintain inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, notifying management of stock needs




Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations when needed

Skills
Proven experience in cake decorating and baking within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and sanitation practices
Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
Ability to create visually appealing designs with attention to detail and precision
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Familiarity with packaging techniques to ensure product freshness and presentation
