Location: Edam, Saskatchewan (Please note this is NOT a camp position, you must reside near Edam, SK or be willing to relocate)
Job Summary:
You are responsible for operating and maintaining the trucks and other equipment to safely and efficiently remove, transport, and dispose of various materials. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and environmental regulations, as well as the ability to work in diverse and challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate vacuum trucks and other related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
Safely load and unload materials, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed.
Complete all required documentation, including work orders, logs, and inspection reports.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.




Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Respond to emergency situations, such as spills or hazardous material incidents, in accordance with company procedures.
Participate in training and development programs to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 1 year of experience operating vacuum trucks or similar equipment, however are willing to train the correct individual.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to the operation of vacuum trucks.
Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme weather and remote locations.
Solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
