As a frontline Addiction Support Worker, your role will involve direct interaction with clients, providing compassionate care while handling complex situations related to drug and alcohol use. Bring your understanding of addiction and crisis management to support clients effectively as they navigate their challenges. You'll be essential in promoting a positive atmosphere while ensuring compliance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate admissions and manage discharges




• Monitor client withdrawal symptoms proactively
• Provide personal care assistance to clients
• Handle crises with calm and focus
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the shelter

Requirements:
• Completion of a two-year Human Services program
• Experience with vulnerable populations required
• Proven crisis management skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Valid Vulnerable Sector Search needed
