Key Responsibilities

Process and post customer payments accurately

Maintain precise records of receivable transactions

Reconcile daily deposits and accounts receivable balances

Track outstanding customer accounts, follow up on overdue balances, investigate and resolve any payment issues

Maintain confidentiality of customer and financial information

Work together with the different departments in the dealership

Assist with month-end tasks including preparing and sending customer statements

Complete other accounting and administrative duties as required

Qualifications

Previous accounts receivable or accounting experience is preferred

Automotive dealership experience is an asset

Robust organizational and time-management skills

Confident when working with numbers and financial records

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Strong communication and customer-service skills

Skilled in using Microsoft Excel

Experience with dealership accounting software is an asset

Able to work independently as well as thrive in a team environment
