We're Hiring! Support Worker/Aide (Part time- Contract to June 2027)

Kids & Company Tamarack is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker/Aide to provide one-on-one support to a child who requires additional assistance while attending our childcare program.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting a child's growth, development, and successful participation in a childcare setting.

Responsibilities
Provide individualized 1:1 support to a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Implement individualized care plans and support strategies.
Work collaboratively with educators, the Centre Director, family members, and external support professionals.
Complete observations and documentation as required.

Qualifications
Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Patient, compassionate, and child-focused approach.
Ability to work collaboratively with educators, leadership, families,



and support teams.
Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
Standard Child Care First Aid & CPR certification.

Hours of Work
Monday: 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Friday: 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
