Job Summary

Responsibilities
Assist the restaurant manager in coordinating daily operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service delivery
Supervise and motivate team members to ensure smooth workflow, high-quality food handling, and outstanding customer service
Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations and standards
Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
Support hiring processes by interviewing candidates and participating in team onboarding and training sessions
Monitor kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking techniques,



and food presentation to maintain consistency and quality
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests

Experience
Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment
Extensive food industry knowledge including food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Hands-on experience with restaurant management systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Strong background in hospitality, customer service, and team management
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members
Experience in interviewing prospective employees and supporting staff training programs
Familiarity with kitchen operations, food handling procedures, and restaurant experience across various roles such as bartending or barista work is highly desirable
