Become a vital leader at West Red Lake Gold Mines as a Security Lead Hand, dedicated to ensuring safety at the Madsen Mine. This position offers a unique 14-days-on, 14-days-off rotation.

In the role of Security Lead Hand, your responsibilities will span from managing security operations to overseeing emergency response procedures. You will require at least five years of relevant experience in security, law enforcement, or military service, with a proven track record of leading teams in challenging environments. Your role will focus on implementing policies aimed at the protection of all site personnel and assets.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise the security services team and operations
• Coordinating fitness-for-duty and drug testing




• Implement access control and incident management procedures
• Lead training and emergency response efforts
• Maintain surveillance systems and manage related technologies

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in a security or related role
• Valid security and CPR-C certifications
• Proficient in computer applications for reporting
• Robust leadership and conflict resolution skills
• Knowledge of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act
