As a company in the process of expanding our team, we are looking for an Accountant to contribute to our continued growth and success.
Overview: Manage and maintain accounting records for the management company, corporate entities, and subsidiaries.
Process full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice coding, approvals, payments, and vendor reconciliations.
Prepare and post monthly journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, amortization, and intercompany transactions.
Manage and reconcile intercompany accounts between related entities, as well as bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.
Prepare GST returns and support monthly financial reporting, cash flow reporting, and management reporting.
Support payroll processing and related accounting entries and reconciliations.
Assist with month-end and year-end close,



including reconciliations, supporting schedules, and year-end audit and tax requirements.
Assist the Controller with accounting system implementation, process improvements, and other corporate accounting initiatives.
Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 3 years of full cycle accounting experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel skills; experience with Yardi is an asset
Excellent communication, organization, and data entry skills with superior attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and schedules
What we offer: Competitive salary range of $55,000 - $75,000, based on experience
