Associate Golf Professional: Pineridge Golf Resort

Pineridge Golf Resort is a locally owned and operated golf course located west of Edmonton near Lake Wabamun. Our unique 12 hole, par 48 course welcomes a great mix of season pass holders, daily fee golfers, league players and tournament guests. We pride ourselves on friendly, personal service and creating a positive place to both golf and work. We are looking for an Associate Golf Professional who enjoys working with people, loves the game of golf and would like to become a valued part of our team.

Location Pineridge Golf Resort Posted Deadline Job Summary This is a hands on role combining Pro Shop operations, customer service, instruction, leagues and events. You will work directly with our golfers in the Pro Shop, help with day to day golf operations and work closely with management, ownership and our seasonal team. We are looking for someone who is friendly, dependable and comfortable taking initiative. Someone who can have fun with our golfers and team while still being professional and getting the job done.

Responsibilities

- Provide friendly and professional service to season pass holders, daily fee golfers and guests
- Support daily Pro Shop operations including golfer check in, tee times, phones and customer inquiries
- Get to know our golfers and help maintain a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist with weekly leagues and member events, including Men's Night
- Support tournament preparation and event day operations
- Provide private lessons,



clinics and player development opportunities
- Help train and support seasonal Pro Shop staff
- Assist with merchandising, receiving and inventory as required
- Support season pass sales and administration
- Help ensure golf policies, procedures and customer service standards are followed
- Work with management and the team to keep golf operations running smoothly

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is friendly, outgoing, dependable and genuinely enjoys working with people. PGA of Canada membership or active progression through the PGA of Canada pathway is required. Experience with Tee On, tournament operations, instruction, merchandising and league operations would be considered assets.

Compensation

- Full time recurring seasonal position, approximately April through October
- Approximately 40 hours per week with a mixture of weekday, evening, weekend and holiday shifts
- $4,000 to $4,500 per month, based on experience and qualifications
- 100% of private lesson revenue
