Position Overview
Located in our Central Office in Regina, SK, the successful candidate will join SAMA’s Information Services Division as a Developer in this permanent, full-time position.

Responsibilities

Providing development, enhancement and maintenance services for the Agency’s custom and commercial applications.

Providing application support and technical assistance for the Agency’s various computer application systems.

Providing custom reports and data extracts.

Providing end user support.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

University degree in a related field or;

Diploma in business information systems and two (2) years experience;

Demonstrated software skills using C#, Visual Basic, current .Net framework, Python, SQL, and SSRS reports.





Working knowledge of GIS systems and mapping software including ESRI ArcGIS products.

Good problem-solving skills, time management, and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Both a cover letter and resume will be used in the screening process.

A skills assessment/performance test may be used to assess candidate knowledge and experience.
