We have an exciting opportunity for a Forklift Operator to join our Packaging team in Langley, BC. This is a full-time, permanent position, with an excellent advantages package, and room for growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Using a forklift and/or pallet jack to safely and efficiently move and lift aluminum logs that are 20-25 ft long and around 1000 lbs. in weight, as well as other heavy material loads.

Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.

On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment (i.e., adding hydraulic fluid if necessary)

Ensure job quality meets company standards and customer requirements.

Assist in other parts of the plant including loading/unloading as required.

Other duties, as assigned.

Knowledge/Experience and Skills:

Forklift experience (minimum 1 year production floor experience required).





Previous experience in driving Hyster and other similar equipment (preferred).

Warehouse distribution experience.

Good verbal and written communication skills.
