In this impactful role, you will strengthen relationships with Indigenous Nations and organizations across Western Canada. Collaboration is key as you work with various teams to support Indigenous engagement initiatives and enhance the Mining & Natural Resources practice. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to community-focused project delivery and advance reconciliation commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build trust-based relationships with Indigenous communities
• Represent Pinchin at cultural and community events
• Guide project teams on Indigenous engagement protocols
• Support mining proposals and Indigenous participation plans
• Coordinate engagement activities across teams
Requirements:
• Postsecondary education in Indigenous studies or related fields
• Experience with Indigenous Nations and organizations
• Solid facilitation and communication skills
• Knowledge of Indigenous rights and cultures
• Ability to travel within Western Canada
