Be part of the Tla’amin Nation as a full-time Housing Administrative Assistant, supporting day-to-day operations within the Housing Department. This role is vital for organizational efficiency, requiring robust attention to detail and communication skills.
As a Housing Administrative Assistant, your responsibilities will range from supporting the Director with administrative tasks to managing financial documentation and project tracking. You will be instrumental in ensuring that information is well-organized and confidential matters are handled with discretion. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the community by assisting with critical housing initiatives and departmental operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director
• Coordinate meetings, agendas, and follow-up actions
• Maintain organized financial and project records
• Draft correspondence and facilitate communication
• Support community engagement and departmental planning efforts
Requirements:
• High School diploma with preference for post-secondary education
• 1-2 years of relevant administrative experience
• Familiarity with Indigenous governance is advantageous
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License is necessary
• Consent to a Police Information Check required
