About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Accounting Manager to lead their finance operations, operating under a fully remote model. This senior role involves overseeing all accounting functions, including financial reporting, general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and compliance. You will play a key part in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures, ensuring the integrity of financial data, and supporting strategic financial planning. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including general ledger, AP, AR, and payroll.
Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and accounting policies and procedures.
Manage the audit process with external auditors, ensuring all requirements are met efficiently.




Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
Mentor, train, and develop the accounting team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a professional qualification (CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA) is mandatory.
Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
Extensive knowledge of IFRS, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
