Brandt is currently seeking a Labourer for our Mississauga Construction & Forestry location. This position is responsible for assisting in the heavy equipment service department.

Detailing heavy equipment once the repairs have been completed
Maintaining the wash bay equipment and cleanliness of the wash bay
Cleaning parts and components
Cleaning and maintaining the yard and shop
Assisting in the dismantling of heavy equipment and components
Organizing equipment in the yard and maintaining dealership premises (grading, leveling snow removal)
Some inventory maintenance
Assisting the other shop personnel with fulfilling their duties and increase overall shop productivity
Other duties as assigned
What We Look For
Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems and propane systems.




Demonstrated diagnostic skills to understand mechanical and electrical systems of battery and engine powered material handling equipment.
Experience with the use of hand tools and measuring devices, and electrical/electronic diagnostic tools/measurements.
Knowledge and experience with industrial equipment that includes lifting/rigging, maintaining, dismantling, and installing machinery and industrial mechanical service equipment.
Exposure to aligning equipment, using dial indicators/calipers, micrometers, hoists or jacks is a plus.
Strong time-management skills to perform effectively under pressure.
Strong communication skills, showing an appreciation of customer needs.
Trade qualification (Heavy Equipment, Agriculture, Automotive,
Truck/Transport) considered an asset
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
A commitment to high quality customer service with a robust people orientation.
