This role is crucial for enhancing the lives of residents at Sienna Senior Living. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will prepare and administer medications, document client concerns, and promote self-care initiatives. You'll also support unregulated care workers through mentorship and education while performing necessary assessments and care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Document and address client and family concerns
• Promote client self-care and preventative health education
• Complete assessments and care plans within required timeframes
• Guide and train unregulated care workers
Requirements:
• Current registration as an RPN with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
• Medication Administration Certificate
• At least one year of experience in Geriatric Nursing
• Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check
