Travel Allowance – $300.00 per shift rotation

Stuart Olson is searching for Journeyperson Electrician to join us immediately at a SAGD D facility in the Conklin area. Camp accommodations included, this camp was built new in 2013, Jack and Jill rooms. Responsibilities

Reads and interprets electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications

Pulling cable/wire through conduits and cable trays

Installs, replaces, maintains, and repairs electrical systems and related electrical equipment

Cable glanding and Terminations

Point to Point verifications to ensure integrity and safety of installations

Ability to work off ground, with ladders, scaffolding and AWP

Ability to measure, cut, fab and install cable trays

Installation of heat trace, and heat trace components

Installation of light fixtures, junction boxes and miscellaneous pieces of equipment ranging in various weights from 5 lbs. to 50 lbs.

May perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must have reliable transportation to be able to drive to camp

Must have project/construction experience; ideally working in a SAGD, or Oil and Gas Facility

Valid government-issued photo ID





Completion of client mandatory site training requirements, ESC Permits, Isolations and Lockouts

Strong mathematical, scientific, mechanical, and logical reasoning abilities

Positive attitude towards safety with the ability to work collaboratively

Valuable written and verbal communication skills

Will be required to provide a Physical Fitness for Duty

Energy Safety Canada (ESC):

H2s Alive

Fall Arrest required

Confined Space an asset

Aerial Work Platform an asset

Working Conditions

Working both indoors and outdoors in hot and cold weather conditions

Working at heights

Working in and around noise and dust

Lift 50 lbs on a regular basis

Must be clean shaven

Personal safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots,
