About the Role Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Remote Drilling Operations Manager to oversee their drilling projects. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to manage complex operations from anywhere in the world. You will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of drilling campaigns, leading a team of drilling engineers and supervisors. This role requires solid leadership, exceptional planning capabilities, and a deep understanding of all aspects of drilling operations in the Oil & Gas industry . The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, work from home environment and is adept at managing resources and risks virtually.
Key Responsibilities Oversee the planning, execution, and supervision of all drilling operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Develop and manage drilling budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
Lead and mentor a team of remote drilling engineers, supervisors, and other personnel.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations , environmental policies, and industry standards.
Manage relationships with third-party service providers, contractors, and suppliers.




Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for drilling operations and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in oil and gas drilling operations , with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex drilling projects, including offshore and unconventional resources.
Strong understanding of well planning , rig operations, and directional drilling .
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, particularly in a remote setting.
Familiarity with drilling-related software and remote management tools.
