ETH Zurich's Plant Disease Dynamics group invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher to explore how transposons shape fungal biology, with tracks in cell biology or biochemistry/structural biology. The project centers on Starship transposons in plant pathogenic fungi and their cargo.
You will join a cooperative project, supervise students, and contribute to teaching while developing mechanistic, experimentally validated models of transposon mobility and cargo capture.
