Inpho is seeking an experienced Lead Optical Engineer with over 8 years in optical networking or related fields. Your expertise will drive the characterization of next-gen components and challenging validation tasks. You will engage in sophisticated testing methods and work closely with design and test teams to refine methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and analyze spectral measurements and device tests
• Own EVT/DVT planning and sign-off for photonic components
• Characterize TIA evaluation boards with amplifiers and detectors
• Configure electro-optical measurements across device geometries
• Develop Python tools for data visualization and analysis
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 8+ years in optical networking or photonics engineering
• Proven lab experience with InP optical components
• Expertise in high-speed test equipment and Python analysis
• Familiarity with semiconductor device operations
