Join CGI Canada's Commercial Legal team as a Legal Counsel focused on technology contracts in Vancouver, British Columbia, or Edmonton, Alberta. Collaborate with stakeholders on commercial matters while working hybrid approximately two to three days per week.

In this role, you will serve as the primary legal resource supporting the Western Business Unit. Utilize your expertise in commercial law, technology contracting, and procurement to provide critical legal advice. Focus on managing a high volume of commercial agreements and resolving disputes while partnering with both local and international legal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review RFPs and advise on contractual structures
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements




• Advise on procurement of software and telecommunications
• Manage multiple advisory and transactional matters
• Collaborate with a distributed legal team across provinces

Requirements:
• Law degree and membership with Law Society
• 4 to 6 years of commercial law experience
• Substantive contract negotiation and drafting skills
• Experience in technology sector and procurement
• Solid analytical and collaboration skills
