The City of Toronto is seeking a full time Urban Forestry Planner at various civic centres. This role requires effective communication with city staff, architects, and conservation authorities. You will develop materials to convey forestry practices and represent city interests in meetings while managing service delivery records.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance on capital project implications for trees
• Foster relationships with architects and conservation authorities
• Prepare graphic and written content on forestry standards




• Represent the city at relevant committees and meetings
• Maintain accurate service delivery records and files

Requirements:
• Secondary degree in Forestry or Ecology
• Experience with native plant identification in Southern Ontario
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary team dynamics
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License Class “G”
• Knowledge of tree protection By-Laws
