As a Faculty Relations Consultant, you will collaborate with various university offices while providing seamless support in academic human resources and labor relations. Your primary duties will involve case management of grievances, negotiations with the UTFA, and addressing workplace complaints involving faculty members and librarians. You’ll also advise on policies and assist with administrative support during bargaining sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on agreements, policies, and procedures
• Manage grievances and workplace complaints comprehensively
• Draft letters and produce reports supporting faculty relations
• Support bargaining committees in negotiations
• Administer and track governance timelines and notes
Requirements:
• University degree in Human Resources or related discipline
• Minimum three years of relevant HR experience
• Expertise in grievance/arbitration processes
• Knowledge of labor law and workplace complaints
• Proficient in data management and HR best practices
