Join The Salvation Army as a Kettle Counter Lead to oversee donation handling and support community needs. Ensure secure cash management and effectively train volunteers during the Christmas Kettle Campaign.
This short-term contract role offers a unique opportunity to lead counting operations and manage Kettle donations. You will communicate daily issues, prepare deposits, and document results for each location. Your leadership will also extend to volunteer recruitment and training, making a direct impact on the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and count kettle donations following cash handling policies
• Prepare secure deposits for safe transport to the bank
• Record campaign results and notify appropriate personnel
• Train and supervise Kettle counting volunteers
• Communicate issues and supply deficiencies to administration
Requirements:
• Minimum one year of related experience or customer service
• Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft 365
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all dealings
