About the Role Our client is seeking an innovative Pharmaceutical Formulation Scientist to join their dynamic research and development team in East London . This role is pivotal in designing and developing stable, effective, and patient-friendly drug formulations. You will leverage your expertise in pharmaceutics to create dosage forms ranging from oral solids to injectables, ensuring optimal drug delivery and bioavailability. Working in a well-equipped laboratory, you will collaborate with chemists, analysts, and project managers to advance drug candidates from early development through to commercialization, contributing significantly to the company's pipeline and patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities Design and develop various pharmaceutical dosage forms (e.g., tablets, capsules, injectables, topical).
Conduct pre-formulation studies, including solubility, stability, and compatibility assessments.
Optimize formulations for improved drug delivery, bioavailability, and patient compliance.
Perform characterization of drug substances and excipients.
Develop and validate analytical methods for formulation testing.




Prepare technical reports, documentation for regulatory submissions, and present findings.
Requirements Ph.D. or Master's degree in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation development.
Proven expertise in various dosage form development and manufacturing techniques.
Strong understanding of drug delivery systems, pharmacokinetics, and biopharmaceutics.
Proficiency in analytical techniques relevant to formulation characterization.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-based research workplace in East London .
