Contribute to cancer research as a Specialist in Research Infrastructure & Facilities at the Arnie Charbonneau Cancer Institute. This full time role focuses on managing operations, budgeting, and facility planning.
In this position, you will oversee facility management, ensuring compliance with policies while collaborating with leadership. Your duties include managing space and equipment requirements and supporting research grant development. The role demands strong organizational and communication skills to maintain effective relationships within the Institute and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as primary liaison with Facilities Development and Management
• Coordinate lab check outs and compliance with safety protocols
• Manage maintenance of common equipment and inventory
• Assist in developing infrastructure grants and operational workflows
• Process facilities expenses in partnership with the Institute Director
Requirements:
• MSc in science or health-related field
• 5-10 years of related work experience
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proficient in project management and problem-solving
• Knowledge of university policies and PeopleSoft
