Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.

Develop and deploy cloud-native solutions utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.

Integrate applications with enterprise systems, databases, messaging platforms, and third‑party services.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Refinement, Daily Stand‑Ups, and Retrospectives.

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code reviews, and release management activities.

Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions while adhering to security, compliance, and operational standards.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

8+ years of Full stack development experience.

5+ years of Solid hands‑on experience with:

- Spring Boot, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA





- RESTful APIs and Microservices Architecture

- Angular and/or React

- SQL and NoSQL databases

- Git, CI/CD, and Agile delivery practices

Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Nice-To-Have Skills:

Banking or financial services experience.

- Experience with Kafka, Pub/Sub, Event‑Driven Architecture, and API security frameworks (OAuth2, JWT).

- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or Grafana.

- Cloud certifications and experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.

Best vs. Average Candidate:
The ideal candidate would be an experienced Full Stack Java Developer with strong experience with Java, React, Kafka and SQL. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving and organizational skills are critical for this role.
